Tell Tale Brain

So I'm reading a book at the moment called 'The Tell Tale Brain' by V.S Ramachandran. Its about weird and unusual disorders or defects of the brain, and his musings on why they happen. His belief of how we can uncover the mysteries of the brain is to look at what goes wrong when certain areas are damaged.

The most interesting part are his patient's stories, patients with Cotard delusion when they deny their own existence, or synesthesia, when someone sees numbers in colours or hears sounds in colours (I have this with days of the week, months years). Reading about peoples different perceptions of the world is the most fascinating thing.

I was browsing through TED videos and saw one by him about the same kind of thing.
